BINGHAMTON RABBIT
RESCUE & RESOURCE
My name is Stewart Gladstone.  I'm a neutered male rabbit, about 3
years old.  I weigh about 6 pounds.  Aren't I cute??  I use my litter box
and actually like
hanging out in it, munching on hay.  I'm a curious bun, but
I'm also quite shy.  I would do best in a home with no small children or
dogs or cats.  I  love to eat vegetables, fruits, hay, and pellets.  Also, I
love to have a hiding place, such as a box. And I like to play with toys!!!  I
have dorky ears; sometimes one is up and the other is down!

My wish is a home where I can run around freely at least some of the
time.  My house needs to be bunny-proof so I can exercise every day.
My bones are very fragile and I do not like to be picked up.  I love being
petted on the head, though, and will sit still to enjoy the soft touch of a
human hand.

I'm
patiently waiting for my forever home.  Won't you come meet me? I
deserve to be spoiled rotten!

Nodd & Simba
Simba and Nodd are a mother and daughter bonded pair and cannot be separated.  They
are both spayed.  Simba's estimated age is 4 years and Nodd is about 3.  Nodd is bigger
than Simba and has enormous upright ears.  Simba is more feminine and delicate, and has a
super-glossy coat. Both buns are Rex mixes.  Their litter box skills have improved  since
being spayed, and will continue to improve outside of a shelter situation.  They constantly
groom each other and often snuggle.  Simba is very soft-mouthed; ever so careful as she
takes a treat from your hand.  She especially loves sunflower seeds.  Nodd is a curious
bunny and has really become much more social since her spay.   These girls will do best in a
partially cage-less environment, since cages often create territorial behavior in bunnies.  It's
not unusual to see a binky or two when they are out and about!
Simba and Nodd need an experienced pet person, preferably someone who has had a rabbit
before.  They both need further litter box training and more socialization.    I do not
recommend these girls to be placed into a home with children, cats, or dogs.  They are very
sweet rabbits and need a permanent home where they can blossom. For more information on

Binghamton Rabbit Rescue & Resource
was created because there is a need in the
Binghamton area to educate people about
the proper care of rabbits.
Unfortunately, there is also great need to
rescue rabbits from unsafe conditions,
such as when they are "set free".  By
educating humans about proper rabbit
care, the rabbits will live better lives.
Domestic (pet) rabbits are
NOT suited to be turned loose,
and usually die due to being
attacked by cats or dogs, being
hit by a car, or starving to death.
Do NOT set your bunny free!
By doing so you are giving your
pet  a
DEATH SENTENCE.
